Meet Missy, the gal behind This Craft or That:

I absolutely love to craft! My mom taught me how to crochet and sew at a young age and as I got older, I found more crafts to love. I knit, sew, crochet, papercraft, weave and the list goes on! If I had a favorite, my house might not be consumed by so much fabric, yarn, paper, stamps, looms, sewing machines, etc.  As if I didn’t already have enough crafting loves, I find myself addicted to dyeing yarn.

One day while shopping at my local yarn store, I found a small little kit that had a skein of bare yarn and a little capsule of dye.  I bought the kit, followed the instructions, and voila!  I dyed my very first skein of yarn.  I had so much fun with that one skein of yarn and started thinking of how much fun it would be to put together colors I love so of course, the next step was Google.  I found info on how to dye yarn, bought my supplies and the rest is history!

This Craft or That was born in August of 2017 with a start on Etsy and attendance at some local craft shows.  In February of 2018, we had our first trunk show at Yarn Garden in Charlotte, MI.  Since then we have attended fiber festivals as well as trunk shows and pop-up stores at other stores such as Unwind in Brighton, MI; Ann's By Design in Adrian, MI; and Lake Erie Mercantile in Monroe, MI.  Our yarn is stocked in a few local yarn stores and has been in the Seed Club, which is a yarn club Yarn Garden has every year.

I so love to meet people and help them find that handcrafted treasure they have been searching for!
