Fidaz

Wonderful hat pattern that stitches up quickly in either DK or sport weight yarn using only 150-200 yards.  This physical pattern printed on heavy cardstock also has a download code for a PDF pattern included.

Named for the tiny Swiss mountain village where I spent a year abroad, Fidaz (say fee-dats) is a lovely and modern slouchy beanie. The chevron rib band can be folded up for a more fitted look. The lace pine cone pattern is quite easy to memorize and fun to work up. The pattern is both written and charted.
